Offseason Player Development Programs
Modern Day Coach partners with the Town of Cary at the USA Baseball National Training Complex to deliver a consistent, pro-grade development system for ages 7–16 — designed by MLB coaches Tim Federowicz and Zach Vincej.
Schedule
November–December. Two sessions per week. See Cary’s registration page for specific weekly sign-ups.
Location
USA Baseball National Training Complex, Cary NC — indoor cages, bullpens, & outdoor fields.
Ages & Levels
7–16. Players grouped by age and ability. Limited spots per week (8–20 players).
Youth Development (Ages 7–9)
Schedule:
• Wednesdays & Fridays | 5:30–7:00 PM
Approach:
Skill-focused, high-energy instruction built for developing baseball foundations. Throwing, catching, hitting, and athletic movement patterns in a fun, competitive environment.
Pricing:
• Partnered players: $85/week
• Non-partnered players: $105/week

Player Development (Ages 10–12)
Schedule:
• Tuesdays & Thursdays | 6:30–8:30 PM
Focus:
Detailed instruction for swing mechanics, fielding fundamentals, and arm development. Perfect for players preparing for spring travel or rec ball.
Pricing:
• Partnered players: $95/week
• Non-partnered players: $115/week
Advanced Development (Ages 13–16)
Schedule:
• Wednesdays & Fridays | 7:00–9:00 PM
Focus:
Advanced baseball training that bridges the gap to high school and college prep — hitting approach, infield work, game-speed drills, and strength/speed development.
Pricing:
• Partnered players: $110/week
• Non-partnered players: $130/week
Modern Day Coach operates this program in partnership with the Town of Cary at the USA Baseball National Training Complex. All registrations and payments are managed by the Town of Cary. MDC provides curriculum, certified staff, and instruction.
